Microblading is a semi-permanent make-up technique that is used to create the illusion of fuller brows or brows with a better and more defined shape. Microblading is an art and creating the perfect brow takes time.
How does it work
Microblading Process
Consultations are paramount and are free, they are the first step to assessing what you need, so the right technique can be suggested, as not all styles fit everyone. These can be done over the phone or face to face, whatever suits you.
On the day of the appointment the brow area is cleaned and mapped, and once the shape is agreed upon by both the client and the technician the brow area is numbed and then ready for treatment. Depending on the brow style hair strokes can be done by hand or by machine and shading is the same.
It’s essential to schedule a follow-up appointment on the day of your treatment for four to six weeks after to make sure you are happy with the results and to perfect little tweaks. Microblading is a two-part treatment which can last you up to two years if looked after properly and depending on your skin type.

As a licenced and fully qualified Phi brow technician, Nikki has spent more than 10 years as a make-up artist for editorial and catwalk shows prior to launching Jolán microblading. Her additional qualifications in levels 3 and 4 in Anatomy and Physiology demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of her field. She understands the skin and can advise you on what shape or microblading method will work best for you.
Nikki is a technician that takes the time to understand what microblading goals you want to achieve, the look and the colour that best suits your face shape and brows. You will only get natural-looking results with her. All Microblading techniques can be done both by hand or machine, and this has many advantages as Nikki can really tailor your brows to match your goals, normally using both techniques.

Your free consultation is an opportunity to discuss the shape and application technique you would like most. But it doesn’t end there as on the day of your microblading you are taken through each step with caution and consideration. You’ll alsolreceive tips and insider tricks that will help you retain the colour for longer which will all be given to you at your appointment.
We know that the idea of eyebrow microblading may cause some nerves with some people. If you’ve had a tattoo and it was painful then this procedure will not be the same experience, we don’t go as deep. The reason for this is because a tattoo goes much deeper into the skin and is supposed to be permanent, whilst microblading is semi-permanent and only goes a fraction of the depth. Numbing cream can be used before your technician begins the Microblading process, just speak to her about this and it can be arranged.
The treatment from beginning to end takes approximately 2 hours. Mapping is an essential part of the early process and once this is right and you have okayed this with the help from your technician everything else will follow beautifully. Everyone’s skin will heal differently and generally, the colour can be implemented better on the second session 4-6 weeks after the first.
There is a choice of three microblading styles, each of which can be paid for in instalments. You can make a one-off payment or choose to make 3 or 6 payments spread out using Klarna.
